In Traum in Traume (Sogno nel sogno) Mauro de Candia crea un breve lavoro da camera in cui esplora i labili confini tra reale e virtuale, concretezza e aldilà, la loro apparizione e scomparsa. Forme nebulose brillano nello spazio ed eludono ogni chiarezza e tangibilità.
Chi sono? Cosa vogliono? Cosa stanno facendo?
Forse queste immagini, che appaiono come forme fugaci in Traum in Traume, sono tutto ciò che alla fine rimarrà di noi: essere spettrali, ricordi o visioni.
With Traum in Traume (Dream in Dream), Mauro de Candia designs a short camber work in which he explores the fluid boundaries of the real and the virtual, this and the afterlife, appearence and disappearence. Dim shake shine in the space and elude any clarity and tangibilità. Who are these? What do they want? What are they doing? Maybe the shadows, in which appear as fleeting shake in Traum in Traume, are perhaps all that will finally remain of us: ghostly beings, memories or visions.

Figure effimere di volta in volta acquistano un contorno come silhouette, e i loro movimenti in chiarezza. Infine, quando si annidano sulla tela, guadagnano una plasticità tridimensionale. Una composizione affascinante: come se stessimo guardando un lago ghiacciato dall’alto e individuassimo alcuni lemuri sotto lo spesso strato di ghiaccio, che offuscava il bagliore nella torbida pesca, balzano verso la superficie manifestandosi fisicamente.

Ephemeral figures from time tot ime gain shake as a silhouette, and with so their movements in clarity. Finally, when nestling against the canvas, they assume also a three-dimensional plasticità. A fascinating composition: as if you were looking at a frozen lake from above and spotted some lemurs under the thick layer of ice, which blurred the glare in the murky fishing, balleting towards the surface and thereby manifesting itself physically.
